Well today was a very long day!! I had my financial aid app this morning which went VERY WELL. I am so happy, I can hardly believe I am reaching one of my lifetime dreams. I've always wanted to go to college & get a higher education & all that. I never thought since I graduated that it would be possible!! This is so great.
After that I had to work all day. I don't get along with one of the managers I work wish, Terri. Last Monday she clocked herself on an hour and a half early and sent me home. I was livid. I wouldn't have minded going home early as labor was high, but it was the fact she clocked on EARLY to send me home when I could have stayed another hour and a half. So today I had to work 11-7 and she wasn't supposed to come till 5. She came at 1:50. I went straight to the office and told the store manager I wasn't doing another Monday. She tried to send me home early twice and I refused. Anyways I could go on and on about her & how miserable she is, but I won't. I'm just proud of myself for standing up to her. She was so mad I could tell, so it was kind of fun because I knew she couldn't do a thing about it. he he.
The photo is Mark, we took it right around when he joined the Army. He is in the Army National Guard and this weekend is his drill. So I'm going to play single mom till Monday. Oh well, I'm proud of him & love him & I know it's only for a couple days....

That's a great photo of your dh. At least it's just one weekend a month. It could be worse.. he could be in Iraq. Way to go standing up for yourself. As for school...your first semester is always the worst as far as getting things set up but it does get easier after that. Good luck...guess I won't be the only one hitting the books!

Thanks! Yeah, we don't know about Iraq or not, we know it's a possibility tho. I don't worry about it because it's a waste of energy. If he did have to go we wouldn't have any say anyway. As far as standing up to Terri I'm so proud of myself, I'm so sick of her pushing me around, yanno!
